Italian concert pianist and conductor Federico Gad Crema is considered one of the most captivating artists of his generation. Praised by Gramophone for his “lyrical expansiveness and warmth” and hailed as “un pianiste remarquable” by Diapason Magazine, he has already graced the stages of the world’s leading venues, making highly acclaimed debuts at Teatro alla Scala and the Philharmonie de Paris.

A sought-after guest at major festivals and concert series, he regularly shares the stage with renowned artists such as Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Gil Shaham, and Renaud Capuçon, and has embarked on an international tour with legendary pianist Martha Argerich.

A winner of prestigious international competitions, he is equally compelling on the podium. Highlights of his 2026 season include conducting the Neojiba Orchestra in Brazil and leading the Peace Orchestra Project on a six-concert tour in Italy.

Founder and Artistic Director of the Oropa Music Festival, in 2023 he established the Peace Orchestra Project, an inclusive program aimed at giving a renewed purpose to the symphonic orchestra by using it as a platform for social transformation, peace, and integration in our society, through the power of music.

Innovative, inspirational, and a catalyst for change in the world of music and in our society, the Peace Orchestra Project is an inclusive program based on the core values of social and religious integration, using classical music as a vehicle for human development.

Founded by Federico Gad Crema, the main goal of this project is to give a renewed purpose to the symphonic orchestra and to use it as a platform for social transformation, peace, and integration in our society, through the power of music.

The Peace Orchestra Project performed with world-famous conductors and artists such as Martha Argerich, Marc-André Hamelin, Aubree Oliverson, Giuseppe Mengoli, Ricardo Castro, in some of the most prestigious concert halls, including Philharmonie de Paris, Teatro Galli, Auditorium Manzoni, collaborating with official partner organizations such as the prestigious Orchestra Giovanile Italiana and the humanitarian project Neojiba from Brazil.

Home of the innovative Peace Orchestra Project, the Oropa Music Festival welcomed legendary artists such as Martha Argerich, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Marc-André Hamelin, Ricardo Castro, Francesco Piemontesi, and the shiniest of rising stars including Aubree Oliverson, Giuseppe Mengoli, Alexandra Achillea Pouta, Luca Buratto, Aleksey Shadrin and many others.
